Bringing You Insight From A 50ft Yacht

So I am currently sat on a 50ft yacht sending you this email. Today is one of my best mates weddings. Out of all my friends I have today he is the one I’ve been friends with for the longest, we met 20 years ago in year 3 and we’ve pretty much been best friends since. We lost contact for the first 2-3 years of secondary school due to being put on separate sides of the year, we never saw each other even though we went to the same school. But once lessons finally got changed around and we were placed in each other's lessons again we got back into being close mates and how things were. We have been through a lot together, rapping in school plays, getting in trouble in and out of school, break ups, holidays, drunken nights out and an array of other things which all shaped and built our relationship. Now here 20 years later I’m about to go watch one of my best friends get married and have also been chosen to be the best man alongside another one of my best friends. Does life get much better than this? Sat on a 50ft yacht with a few of my best mates (one, unfortunately, couldn’t make it) getting ready for his wedding today, with a growing business I’m passionate about, helping other people improve their health, lives & confidence, whilst I improve mine too. Big events like this really make you reflect on your life and how far you’ve come, what you’ve achieved and how well you’ve looked after yourself and those around you. And I am happy with everything I’ve done so far. I’ve worked hard to build and keep the relationships I have. Yes, friendships do require hard work to build and maintain, it’s very easy to get caught up in your own personal bubble and not make time or go out of your way for people. I’ve worked hard to turn my life around my being jobless with no work ethic walking out on Christmas temp shifts because I had other places I wanted to be to building and running my own business. I’ve worked hard to improve my physique and my health from being stick thin to be a lot more muscular and shaped. From eating shite nutrient-void meals to healthy ones packed full of nutrients to make sure my body is healthy and fit. I’ve worked hard to improve my confidence by building my physique, developing my people skills and pushing myself to go on social situations that are way out of my comfort zone. I’ve worked hard to get my clients the best results by going on new courses, studying and working hard for long hours through the day and late into the night. And it's because I’ve worked hard that I can sit here now and reflect on my life and be truly proud of everything I have accomplished this far and I know I’m still just getting started. Because when I have my next best friend's wedding in March and I reflect over these past months I want to say the same again. When I have my first child when I’m older and reflect on my life I want to say the same again, and so on and so on. Can you sit there now and say you’ve worked as hard as you can to be where you are right now? Can you say “I’ve worked hard to look after my health, I’ve worked hard to be more confident and to be the best version of myself I can be” If not, do you want to be saying the same thing at your next big life event? When it comes to that next big day and you sit there to reflect on everything are you going to be happy being in the same place as you are today? Will you be happy knowing you haven’t worked hard to achieve greater health, to be more confident, stronger and in better shape? If not then what’s stopping you now from working hard to be fitter and healthier right now? Wouldn’t you love to reflect on your life knowing you’ve worked so hard to improve your health, physically and mentally? Knowing you’ve worked hard to be the best version of you so you can share that version with your partner, family, and friends? Of course, they love you for who you are regardless but I bet for a fact they’ll be even happier and prouder of you for being the healthiest and happiest version of you. If you don’t want to be in the exact same place or potentially even worse off than you are now in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years' time then here are 3 small steps you can take action on right now to start improving your life and health.
