No More Prosecco & Baked Bean Workouts 🙌🏻😂

If you haven't heard already gyms are set to reopen July the 25th.

And obviously, I'm buzzing!!

The subject line was just a joke chill.

it's been a long time coming and as soon as pubs were given the okay I knew we weren't to be far behind.

I understand why pubs were open from an economic view but like I said before the gyms are needed to help improve health and strengthen immune systems.

And I'm sure you're just as excited to get back to the gym too.

Not only so you can actually lift some decent weight, use some top-grade machines, and vary your exercises

But also so you don't have to watch another tinned beans or prosecco bottle workout 🙄😂

Despite some of the crap home workouts I have seen I think there are definitely some great things to take away from this whole lockdown experience.

1. You can still get a sick workout in from the comfort of your home.

Yes, it may be suboptimal compared to the gym but no one now has the excuse of missing a workout because of not having enough time to drive to the gym. If you find yourself strapped for time one night you now know you can get a great workout from home and save yourself 10-30 minutes travel time.

2. Everyone now knows why they struggled with getting results before.

There are 168 hours in the week you spend 3-5 of them at the gym, even if you went every day that's only 7 hours leaving you with 105 waking hours for the week assuming you sleep for the optimal 8 hours (which most don't). Your lifestyle is the biggest factor you and many others didn't consider before.

But now everyone is realising this plays THE biggest role in dictating your results.

You can train as hard as you want as much as you want but if you hardly move, eat too many calories, and don't address your lifestyle and habits then you won't achieve the results you're looking for.

A lot of my clients have got better results during lockdown because of the change in their lifestyle.

They're moving more.

Cooking more fresh food.

Not eating out as much.

And have changed some of their bad habits.

Now they have realised how much of an impact it has on their results they are focussing on it more than ever.

Tag that on with an awesome workout (designed by yours truly 😉) results will only improve further.

Working on your time outside of the gym, your habits, lifestyle, and sleep are much harder than your gym sessions and that's why so many people fail to keep their weight off.
